KEZIAH 

Keziah, born in 1992, is a Cebuana visual artist and designer based in Manila, Philippines. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in 2014 with skills ranging from graphic design, illustration, character-driven visuals, and creative direction. Over the past decade, she’s led a team of creatives for a US-based edtech company, designed apparel for Penshoppe, and worked across publishing and branding.

In 2019, Keziah began working on her personal artworks where she later created Keziah Kitsche, a creative endeavor that has since become an ever evolving project on creativity & self-exploration.

In early 2024, she was invited to be a part of the Pictoplasma Academy in Berlin, a masterclass on character design where she was mentored by Nathan Jurevicius, Rilla Alexander, Mila Useche, and Philip Hunt. From joining art markets to eventually having her own solo show at The Grey Space Gallery in San Juan City, Keziah continuously aims to evoke a sense of wonder to her audience through her playful characters and cheeky messaging.

KITSCHE

"Kitsche" is an alter ego created by Keziah. The term "kitsch" comes from her brother's pronunciation of her name as a child. The combination of the names, Keziah and Kitsche, symbolizes a reconciliation of two conflicting facets of her identity.

Keziah represents her outward, everyday self, while Kitsche embodies her inner world of sentimentality and vulnerability. Creating projects and artworks under this persona allows her work to convey deep meaning while simultaneously exhibiting light-hearted fun to the world.
